

We are looking for our 2026 Summer Student!
SUMMER EMPLOYMENT from May 12 – August 24, 2026. This is approximately a 13 - 16 week full-time term position, 30 hours/week. Shifts include: weekday, weekend, and occasional evening work.

The applicants must be comfortable working with the public, available to work weekends, and have organizational and computer skills. The successful candidate will learn administration skills, program development, exhibit creation, and other duties as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of in-person programming
• Participate in the development and presentation of educational and public programming and special events
• Generate effective and creative ways to enhance public visitation and community engagement
• Visitor service duties include providing tourism information, handling general inquiries
• Create and maintain a sanitary and welcoming environment throughout the history mill and site.
• Provide outreach sessions for community groups
• Provide mill tours to individuals and small groups
• Interview seniors for mill and agricultural stories and assist in the production of a video
• Mill site landscaping ie. Cutting grass and weeding flower beds
• General office and other duties as assigned.
